I’ve died and gone to matcha heaven! Never before have I dined at a place in Houston (or elsewhere in another Asiantown), where there was such a variety of offerings and every single item on the menu had matcha in it. Definitely one of those times I wish I had multiple stomachs or at the least, brought a large group with me so I could try more items. I should warn that the matcha here is strong and has a slight bitterness to it. Those accustomed to the lighter (and diluted) variety found in American Establishments will be in for a shock. This is one of those places you visit for the ambiance and the Instagram photos. The ice cream can be served in a cup or a chocolate cone. What makes everything expensive are the add-ons. Nearly a dollar each for the cotton candy (floss), toasted marshmallow on Pocky stick, and Pop Rocks and your inexpensive ice cream now because the price of a bowl of ramen in Bellaire.
