BB Lemon

I typically like to give a restaurant a few weeks to find it’s flow before visiting, but a lobster roll craving brought me out earlier than planned. Unfortunately, the roll was a popular item and they ran out by 5PM.

Opting to sit outside, the place had a steady flow of diners through the door throughout the night.  The environment is more casual that it’s sister restaurant ( B&B Butchers ) and there were a few families with young children in attendance.  The kids were well behaved and warmly welcomed by the staff.

The Crab Beignets and Banana Pudding were by far my favorite items on the menu and I would happily come back just to order those items. The steak was good, but probably a bit pricier than I would have liked to have paid for a sirloin of that size and caliber. The kitchen staff overcooked the steak the first time around and my dining companion and I had to ask for a redo for the medium rare plus that we initially requested.  Our waiter and Manager apologized profusely and explained that the kitchen was still ironing out the kinks.

Overall I enjoyed my meal and how friendly the staff were to us that night.  I plan on returning and hope to to be able to order their lobster roll next time.

There is a parking lot beside the restaurant that I believe may be valet.  I ended up parking across the street at the B&B Butcher lot, although I’m not 100% that is allowed even though the restaurants are from the same organization.  When in doubt, there’s valet or metered street parking.
